Belly Shots!

Standard

The only shots I’m taking these days are with a camera! 😉

I went home last weekend to spend time with my parents. My sister came over and decided to take some belly photos! She brought some props, and we just sort of played around with some ideas.  She did a wonderful job! I’ve alwasy said I would never be ‘that person’ that takes pictures of their pregnant belly, but they look so cute, I just had to share! 🙂

Shower #2

Standard

Some friends from work, Whtney, Rebecca, and Sylvia, threw me a baby shower. It was at Maxie B’s, a bakery which I had never been to before. It was a great time, and so many of my colleagues showed up, it made me feel so loved! :o)

Whitney found lots of ideas on Pinterest, and the decorations looked adorable! Rebecca made cupcakes out of receiving blankets and onesies, topped with a cherry. They were deliciously cute! 😉

Whitney used her daughter’s tutu to add to the centerpiece! SO CUTE! There was also a ‘candy bar’ where guests could fill bags with pink candies!Image

So many of my work friends showed up, it made me feel so loved!

Little Carsyn sure racked up at this Baby Shower too! She’s one spoiled little lady already! 🙂

I can’t wait for little Carsyn to be here, so that she can enjoy all of the wonderful things my friends gave to me! 🙂

Less than 5 weeks until my due date, and counting!!

6 weeks and counting!

Standard

It’s been a busy time since I last posted on here!  I’ve had 2 baby showers, an ultrasound, and a maternity photo shoot! Exciting times! :o)

My first baby shower was at home, and my sister and mother planned and organized it. It was so much fun!

Travis and I were so excited to show off the baby room. We didn’t have the glider in there by the time we had the baby shower, but it’s pretty much ready for baby Carsyn now!

This is the diaper cake that my mom made, and it was just too cute! I didn’t want to take it apart after the shower to get to the diapers!

Here’s picture of ‘nana’ practicing with our youngest attendee, Scarlett, Dean and Katie D’Andrea’s sweet daughter!

One of the activities at the baby shower was to make babies out of play dough.  Here I am showing off the finished products!

I got so many wonderful things at the shower. Baby Carsyn is spoiled already! 😉

On of the fun shower games was to race each other to make matches with baby socks. It was so funny to watch everyone frantically searching for a matching pair!

Travis and his dad even gave it a try when they got back to the house!

Travis and I even competed against each other. Let’s just say… Travis will be the one washing littl Carsyn’s socks! 😉

It was such a wonderful baby shower that my sister and mom threw me. I’m so blessed to have such great family and friends who showed up to share in this special time! 🙂
